Last Friday the friends and I hit the Grand Opening of Second Chic, a new boutique in the Elmwood Village dedicated to recycling "gently-used" clothing (something we desperately needed downtown). My wonderful friend Lulu (check out her blog here) is a driving force behind this endeavor, and the party was a great way to combine wine, shopping for vintage clothing and seeing friends. I myself still need to drop off a bag (or two of clothing) and look forward to seeing what new items I'll find for trade.
