Dreary Day

It's Wednesday which means production day for Artvoice (the local alternative new paper I work for). Because it's usually such a busy day, I usually try to spice it up with fun dress. Another grey day in Buffalo, dictates my outfit color palette. I took pics with my rain hat, and one with a vintage faux fur.

Cityscape

We took these photos a few weeks ago but they turned out to be some of my favorites. Grey outfit for a grey day. The skirt I found at my haven F21 for around $15, the boyfriend blazer was $2.98 at Amvet on Dick Rd, finished with peep toe booties ala Urban Outfitters, thrifted knit cap, and vintage jewls. Enjoy.

Hallowinning

I decided to have some people over this Saturday to celebrate all hallow's. Just some pre-party fun. I'm putting the finishing touches on my costume. This year I was inspired by Fever Ray's front woman Karin Dreijer, as well as the Bazaar shoot Tim Burton styled. I've combined a few key pieces to make this costume over the top, and grand. I purchased a pair of skeleton tights, located a killer black & white striped dress- lots of tulle, and this intense make-up.

Pumpkin Patch

He kids, first post up in here, but I promise I'll make it a daily routine. I'll be using this in conjunction with my chictopia blog for daily lookbooking, as well as general lifestyle things: tunes, friends, events. I'll bulk it up soon.

My boyfriend and I went to the pumpkin patch last Sunday; some pics that followed, and an impromptu photo shoot on my roof. Gorgeous view of the church near by.
