( vintage levi's, thrifted shoes c/o erin, forever 21 cuff, headband c/o tied up and tousled, vintage angora purse)
As the last days of indian summer slip away I decided to put together a last minute bohemian look. This is the beautiful headband Tied Up and Tousled sent me, as seen in my previous post. The bag I found at the thrift store and I'm absolutely in love! It's angora and the most beautiful shade of blue.

you must obey
(thrifted obey tee, h&m lace cycle shorts, combat boots, f21 jewelry)
Once again the thrifting gods smiled upon me. I picked up this tee last week for $1.98 - really can't beat that. I loved its shirt-dress quality, but when i realized this find featured the famous Andre the Giant icon designed by guerilla artist Shepard Fairey (whose retrospective my boyfriend and I saw at the Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh last year), I liked it even more more! Over all I felt this outfit had a rock and roll vibe so I paired it with my favorite (only) pair of combat boots. Bad ass indeed.

forward florals
( forever 21 floral dress, vintage slip, forever 21 heels, dotted target tights, vintage necklace & bracelet)
The temperature in Buffalo is climbing higher daily! I love the transitioning of seasons; it allows me to reinvigorate some of my fall and winter staples with recently purchased spring items. As you've probably noticed I'm a huge fan of florals and tiered skirts; there is just something so effortless and girly about them, especially when paired with more structured items like this boyfriend blazer. I purchased the slip last week during the killer thrifting session I wrote about. I've been layering it under nearly everything I pull from my closet; it adds a subtle but provocative touch.

"And you can just sit there a-thinking on your velvet throne
'bout all the rainbows you can a-have for your own
When you've made your mind up forever to be mine
I'll pick up your hand and slowly blow your little mind
When you've made your mind up forever to be mine"

Chambray Baby
(thrifted chambray shirt, UO tights, deena & ozzy wedge, h&m fringe bag, f21 leather shorts)
This is one of my finds from thrifting earlier this week. I've been searching for the perfectly worn chambray shirt for ages and I'm fairly satisfied with this purchase. I think it adds an element of masculinity to an otherwise sexy outfit.

Prairie Home Companion
(h&m jacket, forever 21 necklace, target skirt, vintage sweater, purse, and shoes)
The boy and I took a short walk around the neighborhood and found this adorable little garage. I thought the pastel paint paired well with my humble ensemble. This is basically my go to outfit: flouncy floral skirt, leather jacket, comfy flats, and lots of gold accents.
After our walk we hit up the local thrift store and scored big time! I purchased a black maxi skirt for 99 cents, a leopard print tee as well as a velvet one. The perfect chambray shirt for $3.98 and a few lacey blouses. The grand total was less than $25 bucks (plus a blazer and button-up for the beau). Overall a prosperous Tuesday evening.

Boys Club
I'm wearing- vintage lace top, h&m faux fur, f21 lace figure skater skirt, target black patterned tights, thrifted boys blazer, deena & ozzy black peep toe booties & vintage & f21 jewelry.
Just a simple wednesday date night. My boyfriend and I had a lovely dinner, and then stopped by our local wine bar to finish off the night. I hate having to take all these pictures inside, but it gets dark here so early. I'm hoping for a lovely weather week to document more outfits outside.

Junior

Last night the friends & I (Brandon, Craig, & Jess) met up for some pre-drinks before heading to Soundlab for the Junior Boys concert. Surprisingly enough the show wasn't as packed as we anticipated but the boys sounded amazing. My dj alias Shock & Awe had planned to use one of their songs "Work" last year for Runway 2.0 although it was cut last minute. Needless to say the show was super fun, I ended up drowning in wine which makes for a less than fabulous workday.
I'm wearing a vintage blouse & shirt worn as a dress. Black military jacket from F21, and booties from H&M
Mass appealing is only 2 days away- let the chaos begin!

Cityscape

We took these photos a few weeks ago but they turned out to be some of my favorites. Grey outfit for a grey day. The skirt I found at my haven F21 for around $15, the boyfriend blazer was $2.98 at Amvet on Dick Rd, finished with peep toe booties ala Urban Outfitters, thrifted knit cap, and vintage jewls. Enjoy.
