I just got home from seeing the Twlight Saga. Yes I am a 14 year old girl in spirit. And yes I cried.

(UO suede oxfords, forever 21 acid wash jeans, h&m bomber,  forever 21 studded bag, h&m vest

I wore this outfit for weekly date night.  This time we chose to dine at Kuni's which is a delicious sushi restaurant in the village.  The meal was nothing short of spectacular, as to be expected.  We finished our date by buzzed (killer Saki!) shopping at Target and purchasing nightstand for our bedroom (we had previously been using a wall shelf, and a dilapidated vintage table).  I bought these shoes during our Valentine's jaunt in Toronto.  I think the subtle mint accents pair nicely with the neutrals and breathe a touch of spring into this casual outfit.

urban flower garden

(forever 21 floral skirt, vintage dexter shoes, forever 21 satchel, h&m faux fur, forever 21 double braided belt)

This is just a casual outfit I wore while bumming around town last Saturday.
On an unrelated note- I'm headed to sunny Florida for a vacation. It's been several years since I've frequented the beautiful beaches and Disney scene.  I'm more than excited to lay beach side with a fruity cocktail in hand, build a sand castle, and take a dip in the pool.
We just purchased Kelly Cutrone's If You Have to Cry Go Outside -
here's hoping it's the perfect trashy beach read.
See you in the SUNSHINE STATE.

Prairie Home Companion

(h&m jacket, forever 21 necklace, target skirt, vintage sweater, purse, and shoes)

The boy and I took a short walk around the neighborhood and found this adorable little garage.  I thought the pastel paint paired well with my humble ensemble.  This is basically my go to outfit: flouncy floral skirt, leather jacket, comfy flats, and lots of gold accents.

After our walk we hit up the local thrift store and scored big time! I purchased a black maxi skirt for 99 cents, a leopard print tee as well as a velvet one. The perfect chambray shirt for $3.98 and a few lacey blouses. The grand total was less than $25 bucks (plus a blazer and button-up for the beau). Overall a prosperous Tuesday evening.
