left bank birthday

For my birthday last night, my lovely boyfriend surprised me with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and a delicious dinner at my favorite restaurant.  This was the outfit I wore to work which ended up transitioning into my dinner attire.  We caught this beautiful sunset right before leaving the house.  It really enhances the brightness of the blazer. 

As you can see I'm really enjoying studs lately.  I found these flats at Marshall's (go figure) and the blazer I picked up at Forever 21.  My big blowout is scheduled for Saturday - expect more pictures of wild antics to follow.

Chambray Baby

This is one of my finds from thrifting earlier this week.  I've been searching for the perfectly worn chambray shirt for ages and I'm fairly satisfied with this purchase. I think it adds an element of masculinity to an otherwise sexy outfit.

Red Velvet

Found this amazing spot downtown,  cute graffiti on the door.  I wish we took better detailed shots of the shoulder. They're so perfectly 90's. Forever did me right this week, still wish it was warmer here, but at least no snow.

Winter White

Leggings & socks from Target, White modified H&M dress (Originally it was a summer dress, but I cut it & layered it), 

 F21 sweater,  H&M scarf, UO booties.

Yesterday was Dec 1st and we received our first snow in Buffalo. Today it's back in the upper 40's so I really can't complain, other than our grey atmosphere. I figure I should get in as many roof shots as I can before its too slippery too sneak up there. This is such a cozy, yet comfortable outfit. 
It's practically sleep where, but still looks pulled together. 

I'm loving the look of comfy socks layered over tights (or legging) with a boot. It helps fight the chill,

 and still manages to look adorable.

Testing Textures

H&M sweater, f21 leather shorts, UO-peep toe booties, H&M scarf.

This outfit was inspired by Rodarte F08 collection, specifically the knitwear. As always I love playing with volume and I adore the contrast of the cozy scarf & sweater with the tiny leather shorts. Between the suede booties, patterned tights, cable knit, and leather I'm playing with a lot of texture. I added this last shot in with the beat and gritty surface area, it's a nice play off the sweater. 

Another amazing fall day here. Nearly 65 degrees! 

Boys Club

I'm wearing- vintage lace top, h&m faux fur,  f21  lace figure skater skirt, target black patterned tights, thrifted boys blazer,  deena & ozzy black peep toe booties & vintage & f21 jewelry. 

Just a simple wednesday date night. My boyfriend and I had a lovely dinner, and then stopped by our local wine bar to finish off the night. I hate having to take all these pictures inside, but it gets dark here so early. I'm hoping for a lovely weather week to document more outfits outside.

This weather is completley unseasonable and completley divine, allowing for more roof shots.
I love the structure of this jacket paired with a voluminous skirt. I'm also a gluten for anything gold, and I was pleased to find these vintage booties hiding in the back of my closet.
