I wore this outfit last Friday for weekly date night. I felt oh so elegant in this maxi skirt. I just know it's going to be a fall staple. Paired with the wedges it creates a long lean silhouette that exudes effortless confidence.  The wonderful ladies over at Tied Up and Tousled (check out there beautiful shop here) sent me the "Natalie" headband adorned with three gold keys. I plan on styling it again with a more bohemian look, and worn in my hair!  But it just goes to show you- with a little bit of creativity you can transform your accessories into multifaceted adornment! I found these random leopard pajama pants last week at the thrift store.  Not sure where I got the idea to style sleepwear into something to wear outside of one's bedroom ... I suppose it seems kind of wacky but I couldn't resist trying to be creative with the satin and leopard print. I'm crazy for anything leopard these days! The pants are incredibly comfy and perfect for those mornings when you don't want to get out of bed but still must carry on with your day.  


I'm also obsessed with these Jeffrey Campbell lookalikes I scored for a fraction of the price at Forever 21. I call them the 99 zipwedge for less! Sometimes I really don't understand how they get away with so clearly ripping off other's designs, but it certainly helps my wallet, haha.

I wore this outfit Saturday night for the Juan Maclean show at Soundlab.
The vest I liked better worn as a shirt, and I opted to re-add the pink streaks to my hair for a little extra flair.  Only 4 days away from  my trip to NYC, can't wait to see my best Erin and celebrate her birth!

I wish I could have found the skeletal bone harem's when I was last in Toronto but no such luck finding  my size.  I picked these up instead as a consolation prize.  I enjoy the texture of the woodgrain juxtaposed with the bulky wedge, feathers, and fringe.  I'm bumming today, almost every time I have a day off from work it seems to rain! Can't a girl get some sun!

This is what I wore for weekly date night.  The beau and I took in a midnight viewing of Sex & The City 2, which was a bit of a disappointment. Clocking in at just over 2.5 hours, the movie seemed to drag on forever.  I did enjoy some of Pat Field's crazy clothing concoctions but as a whole--let down.

I hope everyone had a lovely memorial day filled with bbq's and drinks.

Life as of late has been beyond hectic.   I love my new job--it's nonstop movement--although it has me yearning for a glass of wine by the end of the day (and plenty of shut eye).  One obvious plus to this job is dibs on new merch.  I scored this dress for $13.50, totally worth the tiny amount of cash considering I've seen similar dresses at UO and AA for at least triple that price. These tights were kindly sent my way courtesy of We Love Colors (www.welovecolors.com).  I'm obsessed with Chanel mint green nail polish at the moment so these tights fit perfectly into my spring pallete. Because of the bright hue I wanted to pair it down with a simple yet structured dress. 
Had to top it off with my favorite signature statement right now: the cross.  


Oh and how could I forget my new Wang inspired sunglasses! Amaze right?!

I picked up this floral body suit yesterday and just knew I had to style it up for spring. There is something so 80's about the onesie but you all know I'm a sucker for anything floral print. 

We Love Colors so generously sent me these lovely ankle socks which I've been wearing non-stop with open-toed shoes.  I have to admit I was a bit hesitant to try this trend but now I'm on board 100%.  The blueish grey hue perfectly ties into the little floral details on the onesie.

This was the outfit I wore on Saturday to the Grand Opening of the revamped Krudmart store.  I decided to recreate the look yesterday because atmospheric lighting in the packed storefront made quality photos just about impossible.  These are the shoes I purchased last week at Forever 21.  They're super comfortable and remind me of several different Jeffrey Campbell heels rolled into one. I like the softness of the lace paired with the cropped leather jacket. Pastels and creams always look fresh for early spring.

I'm enjoying the look of soft neutrals and pastels for the transition of seasons.  Gold accents mixed with the various tones of beige is refreshing. Going ahead with the sock & open-toe'd sandal trend I paired my new Nine West wedges with knee socks, and was pleased with the result.  I'm hoping for more sun-filled days and grill parties after work.
