I leave for Europe tomorrow and I can't wait! I'll be staying for several days in Portugal.  I lived for quite sometime in Italy a few years back and I'm more than enthused to be back overseas. I can't wait to explore, indulge, and take in the beautiful seaside.  Unfortunately the only sentences I know how to say in Portuguese are... " My name is Kaitlin, and Where is the wine?" I should fair

Today was beautiful and thus I dressed for the occasion.  Floral's have always been a staple of my wardrobe. I've purchased a jean vest in the past, but never a denim jacket (crazy right?). This (almost) army green color I found appealing and I think it might just become a new spring staple.

I suppose it's just nice to feel the sun shinning on your eyes after many months of snow.

I can't wait to start grilling and planting my garden herbs.

The sun is shinning but it's still oh so cold!

Picked up this cute little floral dress over the weekend, I'm such a sucker for anything floral.
I recently bought a Opening Ceremony inspired floral jumpsuit!
If only the weather would turn, I'd sport that sassy little number every other day.

Clearly, these photos were taken in warmer weather. Buffalo's forecast has really taken a turn for the worse recently, bringing damp dreary days, clouds upon clouds, and the need to turn on the thermostat that much earlier.  This was a (mostly) vintage ensemble I put together mid-summer but never blogged about.  I bring these pictures out of the archives now because I have finally gotten around to starting my own Etsy shop!  You can now shop my vintage finds, including this top (which can be styled as a shirt or a jacket) hereI'm rapidly updating the store, so check back often. Happy autumn!

Last Saturday was spent at the farmers market where I purchased homegrown beans, tomatoes, berries and flowers.  After wondering through the beautiful foliage we took a drive out to small quaint town outside of Buffalo, Clarence.  The main strip was tiny but adorable, adorned with relics of americana.  After that we headed to the antique mall, which I have always wanted to shop but never had the opportunity. What a treat!  We scored dozens of vintage books and trinkets.  All and all a completely lovely day off.

I apologize for the lack of posts, I recently returned from a trip home to visit my Mom.  Our positive outlook continues.....  Thanks for all your love and support readers, it means so much.

Sorry for the lack of posts as of late.  I left my computer charger at a birthday party we djed last Saturday (she works hard for her money!)  and have yet to retrieve it.  This was the outfit I wore last Friday while attending The National and Rufus Wainwright concert.  It was a gorgeous (yet hot) day.  Honestly it was one of the best outdoor concerts I've ever attended.  Rufus nearly brought me to tears. We were even alloted a mini meet and greet with him post show.

"I wonder if I've been changed in the night? Let me think. Was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I'm not the same, the next question is 'Who in the world am I?' Ah, that's the great puzzle!" -Lewis Carroll

(forever 21 dress, sandals, and necklace, h&m beaded cardigan)

This is what I wore for weekly date night.  The beau and I took in a midnight viewing of Sex & The City 2, which was a bit of a disappointment. Clocking in at just over 2.5 hours, the movie seemed to drag on forever.  I did enjoy some of Pat Field's crazy clothing concoctions but as a whole--let down.
I hope everyone had a lovely memorial day filled with bbq's and drinks.
