As most of you know, I'm a sucker for menswear on women; it exudes such strength and power. I added an element of sex appeal with this lacey number. The pants are vintage Dior - truly a diamond find at my local thrift shop. I won't even tell you what I paid for them - it's sinful. How do you feel about this leopard bag? I'm a bit on the fence with it. To be sure, I've been searching for a leopard print purse for some time, but I'm just not sure I'm 100% on this guy.

marc jacobs spring 2011

Amazing 70's chic over at Marc Jacob's spring collection.

This outfit screams 70's love.  On my day off I visited the local thrift store and made out like a bandit.  I fell in love with this gorgeous felt hat, especially the flower detail. The clogs are basically the score of a lifetime - why anyone would NOT want them in their wardrobe is beyond me...... needless to say, I'm more than thrilled to be able to give them a home in MY closet!

I realized after the shoot that this outfit bears a striking resemblance to that worn by Jodie Foster's character in Taxi Driver (see below for the comparison). I didn't really have her in mind when I styled the look but perhaps it emerged subconsciously. Either way, I am happy with the end result.

I've been doing really well at the thrift store lately - this entire outfit from head to toe is either vintage or thrifted finds, and I scored this adorable hat for $6.98 and the shoes for under $3.00!  I have to save up for my trip to NYC next weekend, so I'm all about deals like this right now.  I really love the bow detailing found on the hat and the shoes, it's charming and the shoes are delightfully comfortable! 

I wore this outfit to the Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zero's concert at the Town Ballroom.  It turned out to be a great show made even better by the fact that one of my BFF's Jessa scored a ticket at the last minute and was able to come along.

These are just a few pictures from a recent day trip to Toronto.  I stopped in my favorite design  shop Magic Pony on Queen St. to see the Friends With You exhibit.  I even picked up a few adorable toys for my ever growing collection (I'm kind of a fiend for any Kid Robot toys, especially Dunny's!). I finally fulfilled my bike short fantasy with this little H&M number.  God love the lace! I completed the look with the bright blue bowler, it's terribly 90's and oh so Blossom! 

Winter Warmth

Feeling pretty badass for sporting leather shorts in 20 degree weather. This fur is 

unbelievably warm, so I guess it's all proportionate. I'm gearing up for the holidays, and loads of travel. Wishing everyone a glorious holiday season. Can't wait to see what everyone is wearing for NYE.
