An easy like Sunday morning dress.
"The devil will find work for idle hands to do
I stole and I lied, and why ?
Because you asked me to !
But now you make me feel so ashamed
Because I've only got two hands
Well, I'm still fond of you"

Remember when I told you I would be continuing my current project of channeling a different film goddess daily? Yeah, I wasn't joking. Today I pay tribute to Maria Schneider who is not only a beauty but truly a film icon. If you haven't yet seen "Last Tango In Paris" I urge you to do so immediately....

Love to add a little pop of color to a basic black & white ensemble.
This graphic skirt was such an epic find. Considering I purchased it some months ago, I have no idea why it's taken me this long to style it, but I'm glad I finally pulled her out of the closet.
It's Local Restaurant week here! Which means I'll probably be constantly smiling! It's a foodie's dream. Last night I sampled lobster, scallop, and gulf shrimp ravioli! I'll most likely gain 15 lbs by the end of the week, but it's worth it.

I felt very Tim Burton-inspired today, even though I was terrified of this movie--Beetlejuice--as a child. Maybe the best way to overcome your fears is to embrace them?
As I stated in a previous post, I've been trying to channel a new cinematic character every day, which might seem like a weird project but it's yielding some fabulous results. I'm also pretty set on painting every nail a different color. I love the pops of these hues; they remind me of the circus. I'm either on to something here or perfectly crazy.

A quick and casual post from over the weekend. This is my office work attire for me. We're allowed to spice up the boring work day blazer every once and awhile right?
I could really go for a weekend in one of my favorite boroughs, Brooklyn, NY. Not only does my best friend live there, but it's also the ultimate destination for street food- hello taco, gourmet cupcakes, crepe, and gyro trucks. I've also have such a soft spot for the tantalizing smell of roasted pecans. Ah New York, I'll see you soon.
