boy meet devil
(via fashiongoneroue.com)
Rachel Zimmerman as a beautiful boy channeling Bowie and beyond. It's exhilarating to see such a beautiful women in androgynous attire. This will be my uniform for the next coming months, especially during Shock and Awe season.

lace them up
(vintage levis, thrifted leopard t, h&m lace motorcycle jacket, forever 21 vest, UO pumps)
Layers, lace, and Tobias-approved cutoffs.
I purchased this lace jacket during my trip to NYC--light and perfect for summer night jaunts. The layers provide versatility for the warmer and occasionaly windy days. In terms of accessorizing ... this lavender nail polish has become a fast favorite of mine, and as you can see I've added to my cross collection with this lovely turquoise number.

stone washed
(forever 21 stone washed dress, jeffery campbell shoes, forever 21 studded purse, h&m lace motorcycle jacket)
Here in Buffalo we are fortunate to have a few hidden cobblestone streets. Unintentionally this one made for the perfect backdrop to this stonewashed dress. It's 80's I know, but it's lovely in its simplistic silhouette and bold pattern. I wore this to dinner at a lovely French restaurant, Tabree. We dined on Fruits de Mar, goat cheese ravioli, and seared scallops. The night became even more of an adventure when the restaurant lost power, causing the diners to finish their meals in darkness and candle light.

crossed eyed and painless
(Forever 21 black dress, We Love Colors mint green tights, Forever 21 wedge and necklace)
Life as of late has been beyond hectic. I love my new job--it's nonstop movement--although it has me yearning for a glass of wine by the end of the day (and plenty of shut eye). One obvious plus to this job is dibs on new merch. I scored this dress for $13.50, totally worth the tiny amount of cash considering I've seen similar dresses at UO and AA for at least triple that price. These tights were kindly sent my way courtesy of We Love Colors (www.welovecolors.com). I'm obsessed with Chanel mint green nail polish at the moment so these tights fit perfectly into my spring pallete. Because of the bright hue I wanted to pair it down with a simple yet structured dress.
Had to top it off with my favorite signature statement right now: the cross.
Oh and how could I forget my new Wang inspired sunglasses! Amaze right?!

jesus and mary chain
I apologize for the lack of posts as of late. I've been traveling in NYC for the past week as well as starting my new job as a Visual Merchandiser at Forever 21. New York was a dream, I was able to spend quality time with my bff Erin along with solo exploring Williamsburg. I found some amazing treasures at Beacon's Closest and H&M. I was even approached to work and model for American Apparel by this lovely Sweed, I just had to take her picture. Either way I'm back to reality and exhausted yet fulfilled with my new responsibilities at my job. Pretty promise more outfit posts this week, weather cooperating.

noir
Gothic perfection. Lovely lace dresses complemented with fur and petticoats.
Tomorrow I'm off to NYC to visit my best friend Erin, take in some museums, drink and be merry. I apologize for the lack of outfit posts it's been terribly crummy weather here. Showers, a few snow flakes, and wind. It doesn't have me all that inspired. Hopefully the city with jaunt my lackluster wardrobe. On a positive note my new Jeffrey Campbell Mary Roks Wedge has arrived.
They're basically the most beautiful shoe I own.
