I've been so insanely busy at work I haven't had a moment to post or document any of my outfits- although I can assure you I've put together some cuties. I'll replicate sometime soon. 

I'm just over winter entirely- all I'm drawn to are soft pastels and florals...... Spring get here soon!

I feel like my posts have been lacking lately- I'm sure its just due to winter weathers here in Buffalo.
  I think I've developed a new psychotic condition labelled "blog anxiety". I constantly look at inspirational fashion shows, blogs, editorials and feel terrible that I realistically can't wear any of the trends because of our cold conditions.

Alas,

As Tim Gunn would say, "make it work".

Just a quick post- I've been loving everything bohemian lately- I feel like a grandma, in the best way.

A little boho outfit I threw together for work this morning, although perhaps I was being a bit optimistic (totally impractical) considering the frigid winds ravaging the city.  I can't stand this horrid Buffalo weather; it's terribly depressing - at least the sun showed its bright face today.

Relocating to California now, kidding- not really.

scissor happy

(thrifted suede dress, JC lita's, H&M stole, DIY turban)

I'm completely insane for trying to alter this dress on my own, but it was originally a little long for my tastes. I don't own a sewing machine, nor do I have even a slight understanding of stitching. Nevertheless, I became a little scissor-happy after a weekend brunch and hacked up the bottom of this lovely vintage find. Yeah, I'm an ass. I'm going to find a friend to help me "mend" the situation. BUT on the plus side--ah! yes I am oh so savvy--I made a little suede turban out of the remaining fabric.  I'm considering adding a black suede strip to the bottom of the dress, for extra length and to complete the 60's drop waist vibe.

I did a shoot for Auxiliary Magazine and this is the final product.  One of the designers was

 Logan Neitzel who was a former contestant on Project Runway and an uber cute babe. 

His designs are phenom, something out of a Rhianna's or Gaga's wardrobe. 

The caged detailing, leather panelled leggings, 

and cascading maxi's we're all right up my alley

We shot in creepy little basement which added even more depth to the bondagesque theme.
